Leda Maliga & Reva Pau
As Director & Founder of Cognito, Leda brings 20+ years of experience on everything from feature documentaries, TV shows and commercials to video games, websites, events, festivals, art installations, experimental films, interactive media, out of home, public will and social media campaigns. Reva Pau is a senior in the theatre department at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) and is a competitive dancer and has been a part of play productions such as The Farnsworth Invention, Gloria and No Word in Guyanese for me. Together, Leda and Reva will talk about how students can make a difference on issues they care about with a focus on advocating for arts education. They’ll also discuss how making art helps us find a sense of agency, how expressing our story leads to civic engagement and why creativity is essential.
